Devil's Punchbowl
Description
Devil's Punchbowl is a 37m high ribbon waterfall in Stoney Creek. It's name comes from the shape of the cauldron, which consists of colourful layers of stratified rock. This was created at the end of the last ice age by the flow of melted ice over the escarpment in the area. It's main source is run-off from the agricultural land above the falls, so it often dries up in summer.
